// Set up your Offbox
About five minutes, once. Then a tap on the box locks your apps away — and only the box brings them back.
You'll need an iPhone (iOS 16 or later). Do this on the phone itself.
Download Offbox from the App Store and open it. The app is what does the blocking — the box is the switch.
On a computer? Open this page on your iPhone.
When the app asks for Screen Time access, tap Allow. That's what lets Offbox actually hide your apps. Nothing about your usage ever leaves your phone.
In the app, pick the apps that disappear when you seal — TikTok, Instagram, whatever pulls you in. You can change them anytime you're unsealed.
This is the one bit iOS needs outside the app, so a tap on the box seals instantly — no button, no banner:
After this, every tap on the box flips the seal on and off. It's invisible — the whole experience is the Offbox app.
Set a Screen Time passcode in Settings → Screen Time, so blocking can't be switched off from Settings. Now the box is the only way out — that's the point.
// Done
Your apps seal and the screen goes quiet. To get them back, tap the box again — or open the app and hold your phone to the box. Either way, you file a return receipt.
